Alex DeBarr serves as Executive Chairman of Association Analytics, bringing decades of leadership experience in the association and media sectors to help guide the company’s next chapter of growth.

In his role as Executive Chairman, Alex focuses on client relationships, strategic growth, and supporting the company’s continued evolution in the association marketplace.

Prior to joining A2, Alex founded Mayfield Partners, LLC, a consulting firm helping organizations develop go-to-market and capital raise strategies. Before that, he served for 17 years as CEO of Naylor Association Solutions, one of the most prominent multi-solution service providers for trade and professional associations in the U.S. and Canada. Under his leadership, Naylor tripled its client base and more than doubled its revenue – achievements that included a full evolution to digital publishing and the strategic addition of event management, SaaS, consulting, and marketing services.

Prior, Alex spent 22 years at Advanstar Communications (now part of Informa plc), finishing as Executive Vice President overseeing integrated event, publishing, and digital franchises across travel, hospitality, healthcare, powersports, veterinary medicine, and automotive — while leading a number of significant acquisitions.

Alex has served on the Board of ASAE Business Services (ABSI) since 2022. He is the proud father of four grown children and grandfather of four grandsons. He is based in Cleveland, Ohio and is frequently in the Washington, DC area.
